We now offer a unique, private Cocktail session at The Victoria Room. This one hour workshop is fabulous as a stand alone activity among friends or colleagues. You could also choose to treat the workshop as a precursor to a Banquet Dinner at The Victoria Room.
Internationally renowned bartender, Alexx Swainston, will demystify the art of making a great cocktail. She has created countless award winning cocktails, and her aim is for you to walk away understanding what separates the mediocre from the sublime, and have a lot of fun getting there! You will laugh a lot. Your friends may even make you cry, but one thing is for sure, you will definitely know what it takes to mix a fabulous cocktail by the end of it!
During the one hour workshop, you will be shown how to make 2 cocktails from start to finish and relax with a light aperitif cocktail afterward, and a couple of canapes after all of that hard work!
Cocktail Sessions” run during the week from Tuesday to Friday, 5 to 6pm. No more than one group will be booked on a day, so you have the place to yourselves, before we open to the public at 6pm.
Anywhere from 8 to 30 guests can be catered for.
$85 per person for the cocktail session, where you make and enjoy 2 cocktails during the private workshop, and relax with a third made for you afterward, and a few canapes.
$130 per person for the everything outlined above, followed by a sumptuous banquet in the dining room.
Beverages (other than Cocktail Session cocktails) are an additional cost.
There is a service charge of 11% for group bookings
